Chris will bring broad experience to the District Attorney’s office. He’s served as an Assistant Attorney General for New York—where he successfully beat back a challenge to New York’s Reproductive Health Act—and, more recently, as Assistant Solicitor General for the state. Chris has clerked for New York’s highest court, the Court of Appeals, and drafted hundreds of opinions for a New York State Supreme Court Justice.

He will work hard to ensure there’s one standard of justice for all in Columbia County. And Chris will revamp the District Attorney's office to make it a model for fair and effective prosecution and to improve public safety. He’s committed to ending political hires, increasing training, and creating specialized bureaus for an office that needs them.
